Need Advice Please thank you?

My husband lent his female cousin 1,700. He asked me first before lending her the money and I asked him are you sure she'll pay you back and he said yes. She told him she would pay him back in a week or less. Well it's been about a month and a half. And she doesn't even have the courtesy to call him and tell him she doesn't have the money yet. So he has called her like 4 times already and she always says tomorrow..tomorrow. And it's not like he can go to her house cause she lives in a different state. What else can we do? Should I talk to her? Im so pist off!! That is a lot of money! I can buy a washer and dryer with that! Please any suggestions??Need Advice Please thank you?
There was nothing else for you to do. Take it as a lesson and discuss it with Hubby so that you two don't lend her any more money. She isn't reliable. Don't waste you time and emotional energy trying to fix what only she can. She will wish she did, some day.
